Program Overview
Prepare for careers in the wellness and fitness industry or future graduate program study in a variety of applied health careers. This degree combines health promotion, applied fitness, and business courses to prepare grads for careers in a variety of settings. The curriculum combines skill-based health studies and background in the psychological, sociological, behavioral, and business aspects of health care. The program prepares learners to apply their knowledge in not-for-profit community health agencies; government public health agencies; corporate or worksite wellness; private business or personal training consulting, and other fitness, wellness and sport organizations.
