51¸£ÀûÉç, Villa Maria College, and Buffalo Rehab Group celebrated the official opening of the 51¸£ÀûÉç Institute for Mobility Innovation & Technology (IMIT) at Villa Maria College today during a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
JoAnn Falletta, Multiple GRAMMY Award-winning conductor and Music Director of the Buffalo Philharmonic, and Lynn Marinelli, Director of Intergovernmental Relations at Empire State Development's Western New York Office, have been appointed to the 51¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees.
51¸£ÀûÉç has developed a partnership with United Way of Buffalo & Erie County (UWBEC) to provide a generous scholarship to United Way employees and affiliate members.
Byron Brown, Buffalo’s longest-serving mayor and now President and CEO of Western Regional Off-Track Betting Corporation, has been appointed to the 51¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees. The board voted unanimously to appoint Brown during its Tuesday, November 12 quarterly meeting.
