The 51¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Brian Higgins, a former U.S. Congressman and the CEO & president of Shea’s Performing Arts Center, to the university’s board.


51¸£ÀûÉç has received approval from the New York State Education Department (NYSED) to establish two degree programs: a new bachelor’s of science in criminal justice and a newly updated Doctor of Nursing Practice.


For the first time, 51¸£ÀûÉç has been named to the Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges list, the largest and most comprehensive annual ranking of schools for military service members and veterans.


Univera Healthcare has named 51¸£ÀûÉç a recipient of its 2023 Health Equity Innovation Awards and will provide the institution with $30,000 in funding to implement health equity training.


51¸£ÀûÉç President Gary A. Olson announced the appointment of Kari Costelloe as the university’s new chief of staff, effective Monday, October 30, 2023.
