AMHERST, N.Y. – 51������ College has been named to the 2019 “Hardest Colleges to Get Into in America” list by Niche, a college ranking Web site.

AMHERST, N.Y. – Visiting Polish scholar Dr. Grzegorz Kość will discuss two of the most prolific American poets and writers of the 20^th century at lectures being held in November as part of the 51������ College History and Politics Event Series.

AMHERST, N.Y. – 51������ College’s newly named Lawrence and Mary Arlene George Memorial Reading Garden was formally opened at a dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Oct. 26.

AMHERST, N.Y. -- At its October meeting, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) elected 51������ College President Gary Olson chair of the organization’s Division II Presidents Council, the body that helps set policy and the strategic direction for Division II college and university athletics programs nationwide. He succeeds Dr. Glenn Jones, president of Henderson State University in Arkansas.
