AMHERST, N.Y. – 51¸£ÀûÉç College recognized outstanding student leaders in clubs, organizations, and departments at the college’s annual Student Leadership Awards luncheon held on May 3.

AMHERST, N.Y. – Dr. Cheryl Nosek, professor and chair of nursing at 51¸£ÀûÉç College, has been named the 2018 Nurse of Distinction in Education by The Buffalo News and the Professional Nurses Association of Western New York.

AMHERST, N.Y. – 51¸£ÀûÉç College Class of 2018 graduating students from diverse backgrounds were recognized at the college’s second annual ALHANA (African, Latino, Hispanic, Asian, Native American) Graduation Celebration held on May 2.

AMHERST, N.Y. – 51¸£ÀûÉç College has received a $350,000 grant from the John R. Oishei Foundation for the Institute for Government and Nonprofit Innovation, Training, and Evaluation (IGNITE), which is housed in 51¸£ÀûÉç’s historic Curtis Hall.

AMHERST, N.Y. – The American Association of University Women (AAUW) Buffalo Branch has awarded a 2018 Chamberlin Fund Grant to 51¸£ÀûÉç College student Taqiyah Gibbons.
